Introduction
This Editorial Policy & Guidelines ("Guidelines") form part of the Media Fuse Terms and Conditions, and are provided for the https://mediafuse.org website, which is owned and operated by Media Fuse Ltd. (the "Company" or "Media Fuse"), and shall apply with regards to all branded wire services operated by the Company, including: TechnologyWire, Chainwire, FinanceWire, CyberNewsWire, GamingWire, PlayNewsWire, and any other wire brand and Service offered by the Company (Individually and Collectively referred to in these Guidelines as the "Website", "We", "Our", or "Us").
All press releases will be reviewed by Media Fuse's editorial team, or by the editorial team of each corresponding wire brand, prior to publication. Once approved, it will be published by the Company in accordance with its Terms and Conditions. Media Fuse or its brands' representatives will contact you if there are any problems with your submission.
Content Guidelines
For a press release to be approved, it must meet the following content guidelines in full:
- All content must be newsworthy and formatted as a press release. Promotional material, blog posts, opinion pieces, or general marketing copy will not be accepted.
- The press release must be related to the applicable wire service's sector and target audience. Submissions unrelated to the wire's editorial focus will be declined.
- The headline should clearly indicate the nature of the news and its source. Vague or misleading headlines are not permitted.
- One image may be included per press release. The image must be correctly formatted in accordance with the Cover Image Guidelines below.
- Up-to-date contact details must be included in the press release, including a contact name, email address, and company name.
- The date of publication must be included in the press release.
- All backlinks included in the press release must be working and direct users to legitimate, accessible web pages.
- A maximum of 5 backlinks may be included per press release. Links must be relevant to the content and not inserted solely for SEO purposes.
- All content must be factual and accurate. Press releases containing speculation, unverified claims, or personal opinion presented as fact will not be accepted.
- If the press release mentions or references other companies, organizations, or individuals, the submitting party must have appropriate permission or a legitimate basis for including such references.
- All content must be original and unique. Press releases that contain templated, duplicated, plagiarized, or copyrighted content from third parties will be rejected.
Style Guidelines
For a press release to be approved, it must meet the following style guidelines in full:
- Press releases must not exceed 700 words in total, including the title, summary, and "About" section.
- Content must be written in clear, concise English with no spelling or grammatical errors. All acronyms and abbreviations must be explained on first use.
- Language must be objective and professional. Advertising language, hype, superlatives (e.g., "best", "greatest"), subjective adjectives, exclamation points, all-caps text, and the use of first-person ("we") or second-person ("you") are not permitted.
- All direct quotes must be enclosed in quotation marks and attributed with the speaker's full name, job title, and company name.
- Backlinks should be distributed proportionally throughout the content, with a maximum of approximately one link per 150 words.
- Non-standard formatting is not permitted. This includes tables, forced line breaks, embedded HTML, and non-standard characters or symbols.
Cover Image Guidelines
- Cover images must be exactly 1200×720 pixels, or maintain a 16:9 aspect ratio.
- Images should use appropriate margins to ensure key visual elements are not cropped. Consider the bleed concept when designing cover images.
- Images must be submitted in .jpg or .png format only.
AI-Generated Content Policy
Media Fuse accepts press releases that have been drafted or assisted by artificial intelligence (AI) tools, provided that:
- The content must be reviewed, verified, and approved by a human representative of the submitting party before submission.
- The submitting party assumes full responsibility for the accuracy, legality, and compliance of all content, regardless of whether AI tools were used in its creation.
- AI-assisted content must meet the same editorial, content, and style standards as content written entirely by humans.
- Fully auto-generated content submitted without meaningful human oversight, review, or editing will not be accepted.
- Media Fuse reserves the right to reject any press release that appears to be low-quality AI-generated output, including content that is generic, repetitive, incoherent, or inconsistent with the stated subject matter.
Disclosure of AI tool usage is encouraged but not required, provided all other editorial guidelines are met in full.
Prohibited Content
Media Fuse does not accept press releases containing any of the following types of content:
Financial Services & Investment Advice
Press releases must not contain financial advice, investment recommendations, or promissory statements regarding the performance of any asset, security, token, or financial instrument. Content that could reasonably be interpreted as encouraging readers to make financial decisions based on the information provided is strictly prohibited.
Pornography or Sexually Explicit Content
Any content that is pornographic, sexually explicit, or contains adult material is prohibited. This includes textual descriptions, images, or links to such content.
Intent to Harm
Content that promotes, incites, or facilitates violence, harassment, discrimination, or harm against any individual, group, or organization is not permitted.
Illegal Material
Press releases must not contain or promote any content, products, or services that are illegal under applicable laws and regulations. This includes but is not limited to content related to illegal substances, unauthorized weapons, and services that violate local or international law.
Online Pharmaceuticals and Health Supplements
Press releases promoting online pharmacies, prescription medications, unapproved health supplements, or any health-related products making unsubstantiated medical claims are not accepted. This includes content that promotes miracle cures, unregulated treatments, or products that bypass regulatory oversight.
Scams, Easy Money and Pyramid Schemes
Content promoting get-rich-quick schemes, pyramid or Ponzi structures, multi-level marketing with unrealistic income promises, or any form of fraudulent or deceptive financial opportunity is strictly prohibited.
SEO Manipulation
Press releases must not be submitted primarily for the purpose of search engine optimization (SEO) manipulation. Content designed to artificially inflate search rankings, containing keyword stuffing, hidden text, or excessive linking solely for SEO benefit will be rejected. All external links included in published press releases will carry a rel="nofollow" attribute.
Editorial Discretion & Disclaimer
Media Fuse and its branded wire services reserve the right to edit, modify, shorten, or reformat any press release to ensure compliance with these Guidelines and applicable editorial standards. Such changes may include, but are not limited to, corrections of grammar, style adjustments, and removal of non-compliant content.
Media Fuse does not assume responsibility for the veracity, accuracy, or legal compliance of the content submitted by clients. The submitting party is solely responsible for ensuring that all information in the press release is truthful, non-defamatory, and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
The editorial review process is limited to assessing compliance with these Guidelines. Approval for publication does not constitute an endorsement, factual verification, or legal review of the content by Media Fuse or any of its branded wire services.
